All revenue from Purple Rose Publishing LLC is donated to
disabled combat veteran non-profits in all capacities.

The author has dedicated much of his life to volunteerism. Whether serving with the American Red Cross as a CPR and Basic Life Support instructor, working as a United Service Organizations (USO) facility volunteer, or serving as a We Defy Foundation ambassador organizing nonprofit jiu-jitsu events to raise funds for disabled combat veterans facing PTSD — service has always been at the center of his life.

This commitment extends directly into his work as an author and publisher. James is devoted to giving back to his communities and using his platform to create meaningful impact. Each book released through Purple Rose Publishing LLC will always herald a donation to a nonprofit cause.

Purple Rose: The Stars Carry Her Name — Letters from Me to Her is the first title to set this standard.

James V The Poet — an active-duty U.S. Navy Diver and the founder of Purple Rose Publishing LLC — is dedicating the entire revenue from Purple Rose Publishing LLC for the months of November 2025 through January 2026 to the We Defy Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Funds will be allocated in March 2026.
