Purple Rose Publishing

Purple Rose Publishing LLC was born from devotion, from the kind of love and memory that refuses to fade. The purple rose is not ordinary — it is rare, defiant, and enduring. It stands even in winter, when nothing should bloom.

The words that carry the Purple Rose name are written with strength and intensity — masculine, unfiltered, unapologetically raw. They are poems that wrestle with love, with desire, with loss, and with the weight of memory. Romantic yet relentless, tender yet carved in stone, they are not written to please, but to endure.

The debut release, Purple Rose: The Stars Carry Her Name — Letters from Me to Her, is a book of devotion. It is a cathedral built from words, a rose pressed into pages, a love letter that belongs to Her, and observed by all.

Purple Rose Publishing LLC represents more than just my brand of writing, it is a physical representation of words that cannot be erased.

A Letter to Readers

Dear Reader,

This book began as a conversation with memory and became a cathedral of words. I did not set out to write polished love letters or softened reflections. I wrote the truth as it came — raw, unfiltered, sometimes brutal, sometimes beautiful.

The Purple Rose is my symbol of devotion and love that does not die — my creation for Her. My hope is that these words find you wherever you are, whether in heartbreak, love, or loss, and remind you that your story is still being written. Even when memory tries to hold you in its arms and rock you to sleep in the past, it is not over yet. Only time has the final say, and it is not done writing your story, or the story of your love.

As an active-duty U.S. Navy Diver, I’ve dedicated all revenue from the months of November and December to supporting disabled combat veterans through the We Defy Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. It’s my way of giving back to a community of my veteran brothers and sisters.

I am an indie poet, martial artist, volunteer, musician, and vocalist — but most importantly, someone preserving their own ideas onto pages that resonate in a universe’s capacity. They are my words, but they are our memories, and they belong to you as much as they do to me.

Thank you for letting me share this part of myself with you.

Eternally,
James V The Poet

so my love has captured you.”

“I was boastful, I revealed too soon — and the trap closed around me.

But even in the fall, I remembered:

I was not beyond saving.”
